Best Chance Too
The Best Chance Too is nothing short of impressive from its size, spacious comfort, quiet yet fast motor's and latest has the latest equipment and technology. The Best Chance Too is a 36' Tiara yacht equipped with Humminbird's autopilot, radar, GPS mapping and digital fishfinder system. Cannon Optimum downriggers, Fish Hawk speed and temperature system, and Shimano's Talora rods and Takota reels. In addition, the Best Chance Too is Coast Guard-licensed and DNR Inspected vessel that is outfitted with all required safety equipment to ensure that you have a safe time on the water. With limit catches recorded 78% of the time, you are bound to have an excellent fishing experience.

The Best Chance is a 30 foot Sea Ray Weekender Rigged up to our specifications. Our Technology is Humminbird's autopilot, GPS mapping, digital color fishfinders, Radar, Cannon Optimum downriggers. We also run Fish Hawk for speed and temp, Shimano's Talora rods, and Tekota reels. We only use the best equipment to better your fishing experience. The boat is equipped with a stand-up head for your convenience and privacy. The Best Chance is a Coast Guard licensed and DNR inspected vessel. It was designed for comfort and has been used as a charter boat for many years. We are proud of our boat's appearance and the cleansing of them all. Our goal is to help make the best experience for your trip on Lake Michigan whether you are a first-time fisherman or a seasoned angler.

The Best Chance Jr. is the newest addition to the fleet. Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations due to weather conditions are made the date of your scheduled trip and final determination will be made by the Captain. In case of a cancellation due to weather, your deposit will be refunded, or another date will be scheduled based on availability. A 7-day cancellation notice is required on all scheduled trips. If you cancel less than 7 days prior, a 50% deposit will be charged. If you are a “no-show” on the date of your trip, we will charge full price of the trip booked.

Captain Dave Engel
Capt. Dave is considered a living icon by many in the Salmon and Trout Fishing World. With over 40 years experience as a charter captain and over 80 first place titles in fishing Salmon and Trout fishing tournaments, he’s without a doubt the most successful tournament competitor of any Salmon and Trout Angler on Lake Michigan. Being the 3rd generation of both a Lake Michigan fisherman and Saugatuck resident his goal is to ensure you a quality outdoor experience. He’s very knowledgeable of Lake Michigan history and current events, very accommodating for corporate outings and families. with his years of experience and his top of the line yatch the Best Chance Too you are guaranteed a fantastic time on the water.
